The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.chesapeakebaymagazine.com\/where-the-susquehanna-meets-the-bay-havre-de-grace-protected-by-new-shoreline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>new deep-water living shoreline<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0responds to erosion, reduces flooding, and provides essential habitat for wildlife, including dunes, which led to 1.05 acres of new beach habitat.
