Plans to develop a Tampa Bay Coastal Master Plan were announced in 2025, a vital step forward for one of the most vulnerable areas in the US to storm surge. The plan intends to emphasize nature-based solutions, and involvement with communities is at the heart of how the plan will take shape. NWF will coordinate public outreach with stakeholders and prioritize engaging historically underserved and underrepresented communities.
