Cooper City Plants 100 Trees

The Green Advisory Board staffed a booth at the 10th Annual Cooper City Senior Expo giving away native tree seedlings, NWF yard certification brochures, bamboo silverware, native wildflower seeds, reusable straws, and information on gardening for wildlife. There were 40 booths and approximately 400 attendees. The tree seedlings were popular and ran out early in the event. Species planted: red stopper, lignum vitae, dahoon holly, blackbead, wild lime.
