At the annual Fall Festival in Cape May, NWF staff joined with staff from NJ Audubon in honoring Marianne Cabot Welch with the Rich and Pat Kane Award. The affiliate and NWF staff also joined New Jersey Senator Joseph Vitale for a visit to Delaware Bay, discussing potential legislative actions to further protections in the state and thanking the Senator for his continued support of horseshoe crabs and shorebirds.
