The Indiana Wildlife Federation (IWF) led a coalition of conservation groups to oppose two bills aimed at releasing captive-bred deer into the wild. IWF successfully harnessed public sentiment and the best available science to protect wild deer populations from the misguided attempts to combat chronic wasting disease.
