Rochester, MI, has maintained monarch champion status since 2022, a recognition of their outstanding achievements in monarch conservation. They have completed 75 actions to support monarchs, engaging over 2,500 residents, and creating more than 2.0 acres of monarch habitat. In 2025, they set a new record by committing to 27 actions under the leadership of new mayor Nancy Salvia.
